As we approach the end of Black History month, the history of Blacks steadfastly continues. The stories, perspectives, and achievements of those that came before us sets precedent for what we will and can become. The Black List is an affirmation of that statement. This documentary, which is currently in it’s 3rd volume, is an assembly of short stories by premier Black icons, leaders, and citizens on race, struggle and achievement. Cinematic Music Group brings you Big K.R.I.T.’s second video “Hometown Hero” directed by Creative Control, which was shot in his hometown of Meridian, Mississippi. K.R.I.T.’s project “K.R.I.T. Wuz Here” drops April 5th.
Specter’s latest project, a series of hand painted billboards to coincide with the Gentrification of Brooklyn show at MoCADA, took two months to create and can be seen throughout Brooklyn.
