The time has come. After a year of traveling the world, djing, creating, partying and producing I give to you the first stage of a 2 part Mega Bomb!!!!. This is Audio Foreplay. It is a Prelude to my album entitled “Sonic Intercourse” which will be dropping this Spring/Summer. Audio Foreplay is a great example of where I am as a producer and musician. There are no boundaries there are no walls. I can do what I want the way I want and it will always feel like MeLo-X. A lot of nights were spent going over every single part of this EP/ Mix. That’s the verse that was going through my mind while I was getting my tattoo of Basquiat’s crown. With so much craziness that’s been going on in the last few weeks, I felt like I needed a stress reliever. Nakim, Kwasi & I headed to Black Ink in Harlem for a meeting. Traveling To Mississippi With Jonny Shipes, Creative Control & Big K.R.I.T.

I had the opportunity to go to Mississippi with Jonny Shipes, Creative Control & Purp to visit K.R.I.T. in his home town, which was def. an experience. K.R.I.T. showed us around town while Creative Control shot 4 videos for him. I got to soak up real country living. A Weekend Of Art

Artists, galleries, collectors & admirers from all around the world converged in NY this past weekend as several art shows/fairs took place. I didn’t get a chance to go over to all, most notably Scope and Pulse, as there were too many art/artists and so little time. But I did get a chance to check out The Armory Show (Pier 92 & 94), Volta, Pool, & as they were packing up, Fountain. After the jump are some of my favorites from the weekend.
