TONIGHT: BLUROC Festival @ The Brooklyn Bowl

Tonight, Monday June 21st come out to support DD172, BLUROC & Adidas as they put together a grand show in Williamsburg Brooklyn at The Brooklyn Bowl. There will be a lot of artists in attendance for the evenings festivities, two of which are Cinematic Music Group & GFCnewyork’s own Big K.R.I.T. & Smoke DZA. You aren’t going to want to miss it.

The BKc Made In U.S.A Collection S/S 2010 [Video]

With Independence Day just around the corner, it’s only right that Brooklyn based brand BKc debuts their first Made In U.S.A. collection. Spear-headed by The Bearded Man, Ouigi Theodore, the Spring 2010 collection takes its steps into the next century by revisiting traditional garment values and workmanship. The line “boasts a touch of American heritage with an infusion of fine Japanese fabrics.” These hand-crafted garments are a pledge of allegiance to style and legacy for a “New America.”

In 1991, Charney began making basic T-shirts under the American Apparel brand. The initial T-shirts were made of simple 18-single jersey and were positioned to compete with the Hanes Beefy-T.[citation needed] The primary market objective was to sell garments to screen printers and wholesale clothiers in the United States and Canada. In 1997, as his design, the ‘Classic Girl’, built momentum, Charney transitioned manufacturing to Los Angeles. In 2000, American Apparel moved into its current 800,000 sq ft (74,000 m2). factory located indowntown Los Angeles.

On the contrary I used the city’s architecture as a means to hang and plant my cutouts. Mickey Factz On Toca Tuesdays

Last Tuesday, Mickey Factz dropped by to announce his new deal with Battery/Jive Records to DJ Tony Touch and the Toca Tuesdays audience.
