Nike Sportswear x 1Love

As part of the lead up to the World Basketball Festival, Nike Sportswear is connecting the Five Boroughs of New York City in a celebration of hoops, culture, and its iconic Air Force 1 sneaker. We’ve previously posted Theophilus London’s 1Love documentary segment, as he represented for Brooklyn. After the jump you can check out the rest of the series, which features Cory Gunz representing the Bronx, Nigel Sylvester/Format representing Queens, Miss Banks representing Harlem/NYC and Emilio Sparks for Staten Island.

Episode 2 features Harlem-raised rapper and XL Recordings artist Ms. Banks. In this new short-film, Miss Banks discusses the streets she grew up on and takes a close look at the original stomping ground that inspires and influences her.

Episode 3 features Cory Gunz, Bronx based rapper and Young Money Entertainment budding superstar, giving us a tour of NYC’s northernmost borough, and according to Cory “The Birthplace of Hip Hop.”

Episode 4 of 1LOVE takes you on a trip through Queens with FORMAT: a lifestyle and BMX shop owned by pro BMX rider Nigel Sylvester, along with friends Nigel Sparkes and Jason “Cheech” Hall.

Episode 5 features Emilio Sparks of Staten Island: host of the longest running show on WSIA in New York, The Emilio Sparks Experience, and known to some by his nickname, the “Charlie Rose of Hip Hop”.
