My New Tattoo Inspired By Basquiat

That’s the verse that was going through my mind while I was getting my tattoo of Basquiat’s crown. With so much craziness that’s been going on in the last few weeks, I felt like I needed a stress reliever. Nakim, Kwasi & I headed to Black Ink in Harlem for a meeting. A Weekend Of Art

Artists, galleries, collectors & admirers from all around the world converged in NY this past weekend as several art shows/fairs took place.  I didn’t get a chance to go over to all, most notably Scope and Pulse, as there were too many art/artists and so little time.  But I did get a chance to check out The Armory Show (Pier 92 & 94), Volta, Pool, & as they were packing up, Fountain.   After the jump are some of my favorites from the weekend.
