Sartorial Sounds by Street Etiquette featuring
Jesse Boykins III, Joshua Bennet, Joe Kenneth, Melo-X, Theo Martins, Mara Hruby and Rinaldy Alvarez.
“Joshua Kissi and Travis Grumbs, the dynamic duo behind the fashion blog Street Etiquette, think it’s important to remember that everyone is an artist in their own right and it’s the life experiences we encounter that provoke what we splash on our own blank canvas. With that in mind, 92YTribeca is thrilled to bring their program Sartorial Sounds—a night that blends both music and style—to our Mainstage. Street Etiquette has assembled an incredible lineup of artists that will showcase their individual talents in the realms of spoken word, rapping, singing and tap. Come dressed to impress and stay late so you don’t miss out on any of these featured performers:” All Ages are invited to attend.
See you guys there!

Join the journey of Mara Hruby with her second official music video release for “Lose Myself” off her “From Her Eyes” EP.
It is very seldom that we see a young woman open the doors to her vulnerable side to share with the world. There is nothing more sacred then the recording process itself, and Mara Hruby invites you into her home to watch her style of recording in The Attic Of Love. This video will share her ups, downs, and true soul through her own way of engineering and vocal arranging.

Be sure to check out the new inspiring editorial, Sartorial Sounds curated by Street Etiquette:
“Sartorial Sounds integrates both music and style, two elements embedded in every culture past and present. We think it’s important to remember that everyone is an artist in their own right. And it’s the life experiences we encounter that provoke what we splash on our own blank canvas. We assembled seven individuals to partake in this editorial. The finished product incorporates their individual talents such as spoken word, rapping, singing and tap.”

This Video introduces a new twenty-two year old artist named Mara Hruby from Oakland, CA. She arrived on the scene at the start of 2010, playing shows throughout the Bay Area, and released her debut EP on November 30th 2010 entitled “From Her Eyes”. Mara worked on this album for nine months; she has applied her multi-talented dedication to recording, arranging, and engineering her own work. These seven tracks represent the genesis of the view “From Mara’s Eyes” of the various works of her favorite male artists. Each song is connected to a memory experience in Mara’s young life. The beauty and elegance of Van Hunt’s “Character,” Bob Marley’s love of Jah, Mos Def’s soulful poetry, André “3000” Benjamin’s “Take Off Your Cool,” as well as D’Angelo’s “Send It On” – are all examples of art forms from today’s exceptional musicians. Shot & Directed by up and coming NYC Director Slick Jackson. “Is This Love” is an introduction to this new & dynamic talent, as she finds Love for the city that is NYC. Her Ep is available for Free Download http://marahruby.bandcamp.com .
